Dr Rachel Quilang, University of Leeds: Maternal serum extracellular vesicle microRNAs alter human placental proteome and function in pregnancies complicated by gestational diabetes mellitus and fetal overgrowth
Julia Scheel, University Rostock: Towards a “Disease Map” for Placental Dysfunctions
The symposium is led by the EU-funded Innovative Training Network "Innovation in modelling Placenta for Maternal and Fetal Health" (iPLACENTA) in collaboration with the Australian and New Zealand Placental Research Association (ANZPRA).

In addition to talks from guest speakers, its aim is to give early-career researchers an opportunity to showcase their work and allow discussions and networking with members of the two groups.

The symposium is free but registration is required.
